Scott Demerau
serves as Falcon’s Beyond’s Executive Chairman of the Board. He co-founded the Company in April 2021. Previous to his current role, Mr. Demerau served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Katmandu Group where he oversaw the growth and expansion of Katmandu Parks. As Co-Founder of the first Katmandu Park in 2007 in Mallorca, Spain, later rebranded as Sol Katmandu Park and Resort, Mr. Demerau was instrumental in establishing a joint venture relationship with Meliá Hotels International. He serves as President and Member of the Board of Producciones de Parques, S.L and Secretary and Member of the Board of Sierra Parima S.A.S joint venture entities. Mr. Demerau’s career in the family entertainment industry began in 1985 when he and Julia Demerau, his spouse, co-founded Fantasy Golf Development Company to develop, build and operate the Mountasia Family Fun Centers, a multi-attraction chain that spanned 24 locations and went public in 1993 as Mountasia Entertainment International. Mr. Demerau holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Ferris State University.
